For the eight consecutive year, cars were once more outsold by the humble bike, with a record 1.47 million bikes being sold in 2007. In a report by the Cycling Promotion Fund, the treadley outsold all other forms of transport yet again. Not only a positive impact on the health of individuals and our environment, the increasing trend in Australians riding to work aids in a healthier economy, saving $72 million each year in traffic congestion.
