One intrepid biker, 1400 Tibetan kilometres

The next time you're out training, spare a thought for Brad Davies. This guy has redefined what it means to go for a tough ride! A former triathlete turned adventurer, Brad made his way solo over 1,400 kilometres through some of the world's most remote areas from Lhasa to the foot of Mount Everest Base Camp, spending three weeks armed with some gear, a map and compass and a self-proclaimed "fairly good" sense of direction.

Training alone and going underground pre Olympics will only add to the mystic surrounding one of Australia's best medal chances.
