Triathlon Australia CEO leaves
Triathlon Australia has commenced its search for a new Chief Executive following the departure of Andrew Hamilton this week.
“Andrew has left Triathlon Australia after almost five years at the helm,” said TA President Peter Hedge. “The Board has expressed its appreciation for his efforts over this period and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
“We have now commenced the task of identifying a new CEO and we will be appointing an executive search firm to assist in this process.”
Mr Hedge said it was an exciting time for triathlon in Australia.
“The Board has just adopted a revised strategic plan following a detailed and collaborative process across the sport, the ITU Mooloolaba World Cup and Ironman Australia take place later this month, and the opening race of the ITU World Championship Series comes to Sydney on April 11.”
