Carfrae and Lieto play to their strengths at Vineman 70.3

Chris Lieto once again ran out the blue print at Vineman this season. As did Mirinda Carfrae. Both these athletes had great days and played to their strengths as they were strode and biked away from the field.

Alberto Contador has taken the Yellow jersey and in doing so has divided the cycling world with his tactics. Attacking Any Schleck when his chain dropped was seen by many as the wrong thing to do.

Warriner and Alexander win at Racine 70.3

Craig Alexander has added Racine to his list of wins this season. With a blistering run leg he was able to rip away from the rest of the field to set up the win. Sam Warriner was also in good form as she has to fight off a lat surge by Aussie Kate Major.

Henning cracks 8 hours and the field in Roth.

At his first attempt at this race Rasmus Henning has sounded a clear warning to the rest of the Ironman world that come Kona he should be a threat. With a brilliant 2:39 marathon Henning took the race on and went away with a 7:52.
