Raelert and Steffen dominate in Switzerland

In a very fast race at the PowerBar Ironman 70.3 Switzerland the likeable German Michael Raelert triumphed over the two Swiss, Ronnie Schildknecht (SUI) and Olivier Marceau (SUI). Flying after swimming out n front, the German kept his small lead on the bike on a hilly course. A short T2 saw him first on the run course. Just under two minutes behind was Ronnie Schildknecht and Olivier Marceau.

On the run course it was all Raelert as he is far and away the best runner in the sport of triathlon right now.

Michael Raelert won in a fantastic time of 3:47:47 with Ronnie Schildknecht (3:54:29) and third place went to former world champion Olivier Marceau (3:55:16).
